Subject: A famous bust portrait by Hokushu within a mirror frame the semi-naked form of the actor Ichikawa Ebijuro I in the role of the porter Yokanpei from the play Ashiya Doman Ouchi Kagami performed at the Horie Theatre in 1824.

Date: 1824

Condition: Good colors. Trimmed. Minor wormage, some repaired top right. Soils and some creasing at base. Generally moderately good state of preservation.
